There are few technical issues which is very common we found in Marantz CD 60 that we will discuss here:-
Problem: CD-R/CD-RW disc cannot be played.
Cause: The disc is placed in upside down.
Solution: Place the disc in the tray correctly.
Problem: The disc fails to rotate
Cause: The power cord is pulled out of the socket.
Solution: Insert the power cord plug into the socket.
Cause: The disc is placed in upside down. (The disc is placed in with the label facing down).
Solution: Place the disc in the disc tray correctly
Problem: The disc is rotating but no sound is heard.
Cause: The amplifier and speakers are not connected correctly
Solution: Connect the cables correctly. (See the instruction manual for the amplifier.)
Cause: The amplifier’s function or selector switch is not set to “CD” or “AUX” or such (to whatever you have connected this unit to).
Solution: Switch the amplifier’s function or selector switch to “CD” or “AUX” or such (to whatever you have connected this unit to). (See the instruction manual for the amplifier.)
Problem: Sound cannot be heard even when USB memory device is connected.
Cause: The amplifier’s volume control is set at the minimum level.
Cause: The amplifier and speakers are not connected properly
