A common problem with the Marantz SR5007 AV receiver amplifier

Fault: – No audio from any channel.

Solution: – Make the system factory reset by pressing and holding the tuner + and tuner – buttons together in standby condition, release the two-button when the display starts flashing at an interval of about 1 second, then follow the instruction on the TV or projector screen, finish all the steps on screen, when complete it then try with input signal through HDMI cable. Hopefully, it will work.

In case the problem still persists, then try to update the firmware through USB which is freely available online.

On the condition that the problem still persists, then check all the input signals like analogue coaxial and optical too, if there is no sound on any kind of signal mode that means the problem is in the HDMI card and it has to be replaced or to be repaired by authorized service Center.

If you found the HDMI card is perfect, then the problem is in the preamplifier or main power amplifier section.
