Denon AVR-2113

The Denon AVR-2113 is a 7.1 receiver, dashing on an additional set of surround back channels to the standard 5.1 exhibits for better soundstage imaging. Genuine very good quality models add two arrangements of front speakers along these lines, however, just those with vast rooms and a thing about speaker link – or diving into dividers to conceal it – need apply. Its amp brings 125W per channel, which is sufficient to drive practically all floor standers effortlessly.

The Denon AVR-2113 offers six HDMI inputs altogether. There are five on its back, and an extra speedy access port on the front – which can be taken cover behind the plastic fold when not required. Albeit this will presumably be enough by and large, an additional a HDMI is one of the advantages of the top-end model – the AVR-3313 has six HDMIs on its back.

There are a few technical issues which are commonly found in Denon AVR-2113 that we will discuss here:-

Solution:- When there is no power or no LED light or no display then 1st you need to check the power socket by changing it with some other device. If another device is working fine in the same socket that means the power socket absolutely fine. Now you need to check the power cable which should be connected firmly to the AC power socket of the Denon AV receiver which is built at the backside cabinet.

On the condition the connection is proper that means the system has technical issues whose correction can be done by just removing the back cabinet by unscrewing the 8 screws. Then check the power supply PCB (circuit) which is built vertically at the AC power input section/side, then check the main fuse, still, it blows then change the main fuse with the same value( fuse value is measured by Ampere) now probably your system will turn on and your problem will be solved.

In case, the fuse blows again after changing by a new one within a fraction of a second that means the power supply circuit(PCB) is short.  Therefore, you should visit the authorized service centre to check/ change the main Switching IC, bridge rectifier diode, main filter capacitor, 4148 diodes, quarter watts resistor and a few low voltage Zener diodes. After doing this your power supply will be absolutely fine and your AV receiver/amplifier will work like earlier.

Fault:- No audio from any channel.

Solution:- Make the system factory reset by pressing and holding the tuner + and tuner – buttons together in standby condition, and release the two-button when the display starts flashing at an interval of about 1 second. Then follow the instruction on the TV or projector screen, and finish all the steps on the screen. When complete it then tries with the input signal through the HDMI cable. Hopefully, it will work.

In case, the problem still persists then try to update the firmware through USB which is freely available online.

If the problem still persists then check all the input signals like analogue coaxial and optical too. Still, there is no sound on any kind of signal mode which means the problem is in the HDMI card. Hence, there should be repair or replacement by an authorised service Center.

If you found the HDMI card is perfect then the problem is in the pre-amplifier or main power amplifier section.
